We are currently seeking Management Trainees for the role of Bakery Supervisor at our Glendale, Arizona location. This is a full-time position with an hourly wage of $20 and requires weekend and holiday availability. The Bakery Supervisor trainee will undergo a comprehensive training and evaluation period lasting from six to eight months. Upon successful completion, the candidate will be assigned to oversee the bakery department within a store. The role demands a strong understanding of standard operating procedures, product knowledge, planning, ordering, organization, employee management, and other supervisory responsibilities. The Bakery Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring the bakery department meets company standards, and collaborating with the store management team to design promotional plans that achieve sales targets. An important part of the role involves maintaining product displays, guaranteeing freshness, managing inventory, and coordinating deliveries. The position entails supervising employee schedules and attendance, coaching, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews to promote a productive work environment. Maintaining a safe and clean workplace is crucial. Candidates must be capable of handling physical work in a variable temperature environment, meet lifting requirements, and adapt to a flexible schedule including night shifts, weekends, and holidays. The role requires travel between stores for training purposes and familiarity with inventory management software and retail technology is highly preferred. Bilingual skills in English, Chinese, and Spanish are considered an advantage.
