Job Duties

  • Support the department leader and train and develop bakery staff
  • Achieve sales and objectives of the department including labor, cost of goods and supplies
  • Control waste and losses
  • Register, control, and supervise personnel
  • Supervise product transfer, rotation, marking and utensils control
  • Ensure products meet specifications including quality, price, performance, packaging and marketing
  • Manage performance evaluations and identify potential opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
  • Prepare reports, schedules, inventories and coordinate deep cleaning
  • Respond to questions and solve problems in the bakery department
  • Train team members to perform all job functions
