Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bakery or food service preferred
- ability to stand and move for long periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- current Food Handler's Permit
- able to work afternoon and evening shifts including weekends and holidays
- strong customer service skills
- good communication abilities
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- ensure the quality and freshness of all bakery products and services
- maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
- confirm pricing accuracy and proper signage
- clean and sanitize the bakery area daily
- assist customers with cake and special orders
- wash and put away baking utensils and trays
- deliver excellent customer service
- package and label bakery products accurately
- fill shelves and cases with products
- restock bakery department and organize deliveries
- minimize waste through proper rotation and adherence to production sheets
- assist managers, bakers, cake decorators, and artisan bakers as needed
