The role available at Bake Me Happy is for an experienced front counter person with a passion for coffee and customer service. This part-time position requires availability on weekends with shifts including Friday 6 am - 12 pm, Saturday 12 pm - 5 pm, and Sunday 9 am - 5 pm. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in operating drip coffee machines and managing cold brew preparation, while experience with non-automatic espresso machines is considered a valuable plus. This position is well-suited for individuals who are independent, punctual, and reliable, capable of working alone when needed and flexible enough to cross-train in other bakery tasks.

As a front counter person, you will be the friendly face of Bake Me Happy, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering top-notch customer service. Your duties will span from interacting with customers and taking orders to preparing specialty coffee and cold brew drinks. Additionally, you will assist in general bakery counter responsibilities such as packaging preparation, box assembly, warming up food items, and maintaining cleanliness by washing dishes and completing other assigned tasks. Your ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods and maintain a positive, can-do attitude will be essential to success in this role.

The hourly rate starts from $13.50, with tips bringing the average wage to $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. Bake Me Happy ensures the safety of its staff by incorporating COVID-19 precautions like installed glass barriers.
