Job Requirements

  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • able to stand or walk for 6 to 8 hours during an 8-hour work day
  • hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • capable of bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • able to work in wet and dry conditions
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
  • may require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • produce quality breads and pastries
  • produce doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars
  • bake, cool, wrap, and label products
  • stock dry products
  • develop new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity
  • train production personnel to the highest industry standards
  • perform production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays
  • maintain all production modules in the Datapax system
  • arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
  • provide excellent customer service and address customer needs timely
  • maximize sales potential through effective prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
  • follow and comply with procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
  • maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • report safety hazards and violations immediately
  • perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
