In this role, you will join a team-oriented environment that values authenticity and connection. The position primarily focuses on working within the Bakery Production Kitchen with special emphasis on the decorating of cakes and patisserie items. You will be expected to uphold the Ready for Business standards, ensuring the highest level of customer service and product quality. The role involves collaborating closely with employees, customers, corporate staff, and vendors, maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly workspace at all times. Additionally, responsibilities include training and developing team members, establishing effective feedback loops, and maintaining adherence to all local, state, and federal food service laws. The company offers competitive compensation starting at $28.95 per hour, with maximum pay reaching $29.95 per hour. Job Requirements

  • Open availability required
  • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Possess full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching) and have excellent manual dexterity
  • Exemplifies health department standards
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • 18 years or older

  • Proven artistic skills in a production environment
  • Deep knowledge and interest in patisserie, cake decorating techniques and food culture
  • Working knowledge of all bakery service areas and equipment

Job Duties

  • Works in Bakery Production Kitchen specifically assigned to the decorating of cakes and patisserie items
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees, customers, corporate staff and vendor community
  • Provides and role models excellent customer service
  • Ensures the adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout the kitchen
  • Assists in the training and development of employees
  • Establishes and maintains a 360-feedback process including customers, staff and leadership
  • Maintains the integrity of our brand and marketing expressions
  • Maintains department in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
  • Ensures food service compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Demonstrates attitude of service to staff and customers
