Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than one year of experience in baking or kitchen work
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Capability to lift push or drag loads up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to bend twist reach and perform various physical movements
  • Experience working on slick or uneven surfaces
  • Willingness to take on extra responsibilities as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake various types of goods like pastries bread desserts and similar items following standardized recipes and presentation standards
  • Prepare mix divide and organize the ingredients necessary for the daily baking procedures
  • Securely operate and upkeep baking equipment and tools according to regulations
  • Watch the operation of ovens and kitchen tools to make sure the proper cooking times and temperatures are followed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation policies by correctly storing food maintaining personal hygiene and keeping the kitchen area clean
  • Conform to kitchen guidelines for workstation setup and dismantling
  • Guarantee that the food quality and consistency remain unchanged in each batch that is produced during the shift
