The role of Machine Operator 1 at Reser’s Fine Foods is a critical position within their production team. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to a Line Technician or Production Supervisor and involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of basic food processing machines. The Machine Operator is responsible for combining raw and processed ingredients into intermediate food products efficiently and safely. A keen attention to detail is essential to ensure product quality, including verifying product weight, temperature, and date standards. The position also includes cleaning and sanitizing equipment in compliance with company protocols and food safety regulations, such as HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices. Given the nature of the work environment—a refrigerated food manufacturing plant with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F—candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and able to stand and walk for extended periods.
