The Mixer role at Authentic Gourmet Bakeshop is a critical, hands-on position responsible for the accurate preparation and production of doughs, batters, and mixes, which are foundational to the final products. This full-time position typically runs from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some flexibility required based on operational needs. The Mixer operates commercial mixing equipment safely and efficiently to produce consistent, high-quality batters and doughs according to established recipes and production schedules. Precision and consistency are paramount, as the Mixer ensures every batch meets AGBS quality standards in texture, weight, and overall uniformity. The role demands a strong understanding of formulas and recipe execution, the ability to measure and scale ingredients accurately, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

In addition to mixing duties, the Mixer supports the broader bakery operations by collaborating closely with bakers and packaging staff, helping to maintain smooth production flow and supporting additional tasks such as prep work or packaging during downtime. The position requires rigorous compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, HACCP procedures, and proper documentation processes to uphold the company’s high standards and regulatory compliance. Physical demands include the ability to stand for extended periods and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds while working in an environment that may expose employees to varying temperatures and kitchen equipment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • previous food service or kitchen experience preferred
  • experience working in regulated or licensed food service environments preferred
  • ability to stand and work for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform repetitive kitchen tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food production, bakery, or mixing role preferred

Job Duties
