Job Duties
- Assist implementation of bakery merchandising programs
- responsible for pricing, displaying, ordering, and inventory control
- ensure department presentation, cleanliness, and profitability
- serve as a positive role model
- provide superior customer service and training
- supervise department staff including scheduling and assigning duties
- implement all merchandising programs
- maintain standards of cleanliness, sanitation, inventory control, rotation, quality, ordering, variety standards, signage, and seasonal schematics
- ensure highest quality of product for customers
- monitor variety standards and compliance on ad item displays
- share responsibility for ordering and inventory control
- assist in ensuring paperwork compliance
- oversee production, sales, baking, cake decorating, and profitability
- perform other duties as assigned
