The pay range for this role is between $19.90 and $25.40 per hour, with variations depending on location, experience, qualifications, and collective bargaining agreements where applicable. The Bakery Department Manager will exemplify outstanding customer service and ensure that all bakery operations meet company quality standards, safety requirements, and profit goals. They will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the daily functions of the bakery department, including proofing, baking, decorating, slicing, packaging, and merchandising of bakery products. Maintaining product freshness, quality, and inventory control are key priorities. The manager will oversee inventory processes such as ordering, receiving, and stock rotation while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the Bakery Department Manager will supervise, train, motivate, and guide bakery staff. This includes managing personnel matters such as hiring, discipline, performance evaluations, scheduling, and fostering a positive, productive work environment. The manager will also be tasked with preventing shrinkage and controlling expenses to meet sales and profit objectives.

Job Duties

  • Champions corporate and division customer service programs to meet or exceed division customer service goals
