Established with a commitment to delivering premium products and a warm guest experience, NbC has become synonymous with delicious, beautifully presented bundt cakes across the United States. As part of a growing franchise network, each bakery location upholds NbC's brand values, focusing on exceptional customer service, quality baking, and community involvement.
The role of the Bakery Manager at Nothing Bundt Cakes is a pivotal leadership position responsible for directing the team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bakery. This includes managing all aspects of the guest experience, cake production, merchandise presentation, work environment, profit and loss (P&L) management, and inventory control. The Bakery Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales and profitability while ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality cakes in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This leadership position is not only about operational oversight but also about embodying and disseminating the core values of the NbC brand.
Specifically, the Bakery Manager acts as the cultural carrier of the brand, fostering a joyful and committed team environment and serving as an enthusiastic ambassador in the local community. They build and maintain strong guest relationships, manage the recruitment and development of staff, and ensure a smooth operational flow. The manager must balance multiple business metrics, including productivity, costs, inventory, and staffing, while maintaining the highest standards for product quality, food safety, and customer service.
Key responsibilities also include facilitating special orders for individual and corporate clients, organizing community outreach, and leading fundraising and brand-aligned events to enhance the bakery's visibility and reputation locally. This position demands a blend of strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
To succeed, the Bakery Manager should have a college degree and 3-5 years of management experience in retail, hospitality, or foodservice environments, with proven success in team building, financial management, and operational excellence. Flexibility in work schedule, basic proficiency in technology tools like Microsoft Office, and a commitment to ongoing training and development complete the requirements. This is a hands-on role involving frequent interaction with team members, guests, and community partners, making it dynamic and impactful within the franchise ecosystem.
Employment at Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery locations is through the franchise owner/operator, and all employee relations are managed locally. The position requires on-site presence for training and work, particularly in Texas for initial onboarding. This role offers a competitive salary supplemented by performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee well-being and growth.
