Job Requirements
- 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team
- Willingness to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Job Qualifications
- 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
- Knowledge of bakery production including decorating
- Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) is preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to train and develop associates effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with digital tools and technology for business operations
Job Duties
- Lead and inspire a team of associates in your area to execute the business plan and deliver exceptional member experiences
- Set clear goals, expectations, and standards for quality, production, and member service
- Advocate for the member, the associate, and the company every day
- Partner with cross functional team leaders to deliver a seamless total club experience
- Maintain deep knowledge of fresh operations on the floor and in the backroom, including product specifications, seasonality, and production expectations
- Ensure your area meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, equipment usage, production, food safety, sanitation, and compliance
- Train and upskill your team on processes, recipes/specs (as applicable), safe handling, and consistent execution
- Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan, forecast, and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- Make real time business decisions related to production, training, quality, and inventory
- Drive business results while maintaining a neat, clean, and safe work area for the team and the members
- Own inventory, ordering, audits, and compliance standards while identifying shrink and preventing loss
- Teach, train, and develop associates by identifying training needs and building the skills required to deliver high quality products and service
- Identify potential and desire in others and coach with consistency to strengthen performance and readiness
- Encourage career growth for team members and help source talent internally and externally to build a strong bench
