This leadership position requires a blend of managerial skills, technical knowledge, and customer service expertise. The individual in this role will lead by example, fostering a collaborative environment among team members and other department leaders within the club. The Bakery Department Lead leverages digital tools to enhance operational efficiency, improve the member shopping experience, and maintain high associate engagement levels. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and safe work environment, managing inventory accurately, and ensuring the bakery department meets production schedules and quality benchmarks.
Moreover, this role is integral in developing team members by identifying training needs, providing coaching, and encouraging professional growth within the department. The Bakery Department Lead supports Sam's Club's broader mission by promoting respect, integrity, and excellence in all aspects of the business. The role requires someone who is adaptable, proactive, and deeply committed to serving both customers and team members effectively.

Sam's Club also provides extensive benefits, including health, financial, and paid time off benefits, along with unique programs like Live Better U, which supports educational advancement for associates.
