We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Bakery Department Lead to join our team. This leadership role supports the Bakery Department Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience and driving department success. The Bakery Department Lead plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and operational excellence, ensuring that the bakery department not only meets but exceeds guest expectations. The successful candidate will work closely with their team and manager to foster a positive and productive environment, coaching and developing team members while maintaining inventory accuracy, managing schedules, and assisting with merchandising and financial performance analysis. This position demands a strong leader with a commitment to excellence, a passion for fresh food, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

As a Bakery Department Lead, you will embody our mission by delivering impeccable hospitality through active guest engagement and by creating positive experiences in the bakery department. You will have the opportunity to help shape and support a high-performing team by leading with care and strategic purpose. Your responsibilities will include monitoring labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals, minimizing shrink through inventory management, and supporting the ordering processes. Acting as a resource and stepping in as acting manager when needed, you will ensure smooth daily operations and seamless teamwork. You will also collaborate with fellow department leaders to contribute to the overall store success and leverage technology tools to optimize department performance.
