Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
- ability to complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired
- physical ability to perform bakery production duties
- willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- compliance with company drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team
- knowledge of bakery production including decorating preferred
- food handler certification preferred
- ability to train and mentor associates
- effective communication and leadership skills

Job Duties
- Supervises the team within the Bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating the goals of the department
- executes company programs adhering to policies and being an advocate for the member, the associate and the company
- works collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club is meeting the members expectations
- maintains in-depth knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product specifications and seasonality of product
- ensures the Bakery department meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, equipment usage, production, safety, sanitation and compliance
- shares knowledge and trains the team, ensures team members possess knowledge of new products, recipes and production specifications and equips them with what they need to do their job effectively
- leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement
- utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training and product quality and adopts new tools while encouraging others to use them
- drives business results ensuring commitment to operational excellence
- maintains a neat, clean and safe work area in the Bakery department
- ensures appropriate planning and staffing for weekly bakery volumes
- drives consistency in quality, food safety and company policies to support both production and member service
- maintains accurate inventory, audit and compliance standards
- produces and displays merchandise according to the merchandise layout plan
- teaches and trains the team by identifying training needs and providing necessary skills to deliver high quality products
