As an integral part of their continued expansion and commitment to excellence, Stone Ground Bakery and Wheat Montana are seeking a Bakery Generalist to join their commercial bakery team. This role supports the heart of their bread and bun production processes, ensuring that each item meets the highest standards of quality and food safety. The Bakery Generalist position is multifaceted, involving duties ranging from ingredient preparation, mixing, kneading, shaping, proofing, baking to packaging and quality assurance. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop a broad skill set within commercial baking in a dynamic and supportive environment. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age to work around noisy and hot equipment and afternoon and evening shifts if applicable
- must be fluent in English as a primary or secondary language to effectively communication with leadership and other team members
- 0-2 years experience in production environments
- familiarity with production processes preferred
- physical capability to lift 50 lbs and operate heavy machinery in a dusty, hot environment

Job Duties
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately as per formula guidelines
- operate machinery to mix, knead, and prepare the dough
- operate machinery to chunk, divide, and shape dough into loaves, buns, or other forms and ensure they rise appropriately before baking
- load and unload the oven and/or proof box, ensuring optimal temperature and baking times
- load and unload pans from the production line, stack and unstack pans as required
- efficiently dump waste buckets, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- thoroughly examine baked goods to ascertain quality, addressing any inconsistencies or defects immediately
