Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Ability to follow food safety and handling policies
- Ability to stand and move about for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and move heavier items with assistance
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and members
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations
- Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items to members
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorates special order or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety, freshness, and product handling policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods and performs price checks
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and display fixtures
- Operates bakery equipment using proper work methods in compliance with safety policies
- Maintains all club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
