Circle K is a globally recognized convenience store chain known for providing exceptional customer service and a wide range of quality products. With numerous locations throughout the Twin Cities area and beyond, Circle K prides itself on its commitment to community and customer satisfaction. The company operates a robust support facility in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, which plays a vital role in the efficient distribution of fresh and frozen food products to various Holiday Stationstore locations. The Brooklyn Center Holiday Support Facility is a key logistics hub ensuring that stores maintain optimum inventory levels and continue to serve customers with quality products. The environment at Circle K fosters teamwork, safety, and professional growth, making it an ideal workplace for individuals seeking stable employment in the transportation and logistics sector. This particular opportunity offers an hourly salary starting at $19.00 and is designed as a part-time or flexible schedule position, delivering goods predominantly from Sunday through Thursday beginning in the late morning hours.
The Holiday Support Facility Driver role at Circle K is integral to the company's supply chain operations. The individual in this position will be responsible for operating a 26-foot straight truck safely and efficiently, delivering fresh and frozen food products to multiple Holiday Stationstore locations in the greater Twin Cities region. These deliveries typically take place starting at 11 am and continue until the designated route is completed, which allows for a balanced work schedule and the chance to engage with various store teams. Drivers will be tasked with loading the truck at the Brooklyn Center support facility and unloading merchandise at each destination. Additional responsibilities include performing thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with Department of Transportation standards, as well as utilizing PeopleNet, a GPS fleet tracking system, to monitor and document deliveries in real-time.
Attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations are paramount in this role. The driver will also be responsible for accurately completing all required paperwork, refueling the truck as necessary, and maintaining professional interactions with Stationstore employees, coworkers, and customers. Compliance with federal and state standards including the Department of Transportation (DOT), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and company policies is essential. This includes following safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). This position not only demands strong driving skills but also a commitment to uphold the highest standards of safety and product quality throughout the delivery process.
Circle K is committed to equal opportunity employment and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Applicants with disabilities who require reasonable accommodation during the hiring process are encouraged to communicate their needs to the company's Human Resources department. The company also participates in the federal E-Verify program to validate work eligibility. Joining Circle K as a Holiday Support Facility Driver offers individuals a rewarding role within a respected company that values integrity, safety, and reliability, providing a solid foundation for career advancement within the retail and logistics sectors.
