Educationally, candidates are expected to have undergone School of Retail Management (SORM) training and hold relevant certifications such as Certified Bakery Expert or Food Safety certification. Physical demands include working in fast-paced retail environments, standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and exposure to various temperature extremes.

Job Duties

  • Use independent judgment making employment-related and business decisions including hiring, promoting, disciplining
  • Train trainees in School of Retail Management and School of Retail Leadership
  • Assist partners with duties, coach, train, evaluate
  • Hold partners accountable for following SOPs
  • Prepare work schedules, order product, control inventory, monitor budget and payroll
  • Prepare production plans, ensure correct quantities produced, maintain product levels
  • Monitor showcase production, track stales, accountable for bakery scorecard
  • Execute merchandising programs, drive sales by producing appropriate variety and quantity of products daily
  • Manage shrink and inventory levels effectively
  • Maintain highest levels of customer service through personal example and SOP compliance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain safety and sanitation of equipment and department
  • Maintain sanitation standards throughout the work area
