This exciting opportunity is for the position of Bakery Manager at Albertsons Companies. The Bakery Manager will oversee all aspects of the bakery department, combining a passion for fresh bakery products with strong leadership and operational skills. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment, the Bakery Manager is responsible for driving sales and gross margin performance, ensuring product quality and freshness, preventing shrinkage, and leading a team dedicated to providing excellent customer service. As Bakery Manager, you will lead inventory management, scheduling, and compliance with food safety standards while fostering an enthusiastic customer-focused atmosphere. You will plan and organize staff duties to guarantee productivity and adherence to labor guidelines, maintain an organized and safe working environment, and implement effective product handling and rotation practices to minimize shrinkage and spoilage. The role requires excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-moving environment. You will also manage administrative tasks including ordering, reporting, and inventory control, which are essential to smooth daily operations. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, as the role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bakery or retail management preferred
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
