The Pastry Chef will be responsible for producing all finished dessert goods according to established recipes and standards. This role requires close attention to detail to ensure consistency in size, decoration, and taste. The successful candidate will employ advanced techniques such as chocolate molding, sugar and caramel work, and intricate piping. Responsibilities include finishing desserts upon receipt of orders from restaurant outlets and preparing stock products to keep the dessert shop well supplied. Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the production area is essential, as is adhering to all company policies and safety procedures. Strong communication skills are necessary to maintain professional interaction with both guests and team members. This position demands flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the operational needs of the business. Job Requirements

  • Work may be performed in an area which may be unusually noisy and crowded
  • mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
  • normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Finish desserts upon receipt of order ensuring proper size and decoration
  • use advanced techniques including piping, molding chocolate, and working with sugar and caramel
  • follow recipes accurately
  • produce desserts on time for delivery to outlets
