The company offers various employment types, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and career growth opportunities across multiple departments, including food and beverage, guest services, entertainment production, and hotel operations.

The Bakery Coordinator role at MGM Resorts, specifically at the Mandalay Bay property, is an essential position responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the bakery division within the food and beverage department. This role involves coordinating production timelines, managing the flow of ingredients, and communicating effectively with kitchen teams to ensure that baked goods such as breads, pastries, cakes, and seasonal specialties are produced at peak quality and delivered promptly. As a Bakery Coordinator, the successful candidate will support team members from early morning through late night shifts, ensuring seamless bakery operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and a passion for the culinary arts, particularly in a fast-paced, creative kitchen setting. The starting wage for this role is $20.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to offering competitive compensation.

In addition to coordination duties, the Bakery Coordinator provides administrative support to the food and beverage department, including handling communications such as telephones and correspondence related to department matters. This includes coordinating orders, managing documentation for inventory control, and alerting chefs about shortages to ensure uninterrupted production. The role also involves scheduling relief staff, organizing banquet event orders (BEOs), and attending relevant meetings. Candidates will have opportunities to assist with special projects within the F&B division, gaining exposure to diverse operational aspects and development potential. MGM Resorts values candidates who bring prior administrative experience and culinary training or food and beverage background, with bilingual skills being a plus. The position offers a vibrant work environment where coordination and creativity merge to keep the bakery running at its best, contributing significantly to the guest experience that MGM Resorts is known for.
