The Baker’s Helper role at Albertsons is a vital position within the bakery operations. The individual in this role supports the bakery team by preparing dough, glazing pastries, and assisting throughout the baking process from start to finish. Working in collaboration with the Bakery Sales Manager, the Baker’s Helper helps plan daily production schedules, gathers ingredients, and precisely follows recipes to ensure consistency and quality. In addition to baking duties, the role includes product finishing tasks such as applying icing, monitoring oven temperatures, and verifying that all products meet the bakery’s high-quality standards. Beyond production, the Baker’s Helper engages with customers by providing courteous service, answering questions about products, and maintaining an organized and clean workspace.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in baking or food service preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays if needed
