The Baker's Helper position at Albertsons is an integral role within their bakery operations. This role involves preparing dough, glazing pastries, assisting with baking tasks from start to finish, and collaborating closely with the Bakery Sales Manager to plan daily production schedules and gather necessary ingredients. A Baker's Helper must meticulously follow recipes with precision, monitor oven temperatures, apply icing or glazes to baked goods, and consistently maintain high-quality standards for all bakery products. The role extends beyond baking duties, including providing friendly, courteous service to customers by answering product-related questions, sharing product information, and ensuring the bakery workspace remains clean, organized, and efficient throughout the day. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bakery or food service preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- good physical stamina to stand for long periods
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- basic food safety knowledge
