Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Ability to proof and bake bakery goods accurately following instructions
Capability to handle physical aspects such as lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally heavier items with assistance
Knowledge and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
Strong customer service skills
Capacity to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area
Effective communication skills
Willingness to work as part of a team and embrace inclusion and diversity
Regular, predictable, full attendance

Job Qualifications

Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
Knowledge of bakery products preferred
At least 18 years of age

Job Duties

Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following each item s product handling information using ovens and or other equipment
Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations including safe handling and storage instructions
Maintain all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
Answer questions and recommend bakery items to members and take special orders
Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes and other items as needed
Decorate special order or case product
Rotate and store bakery products following proper work methods on food safety, food freshness and product handling policies and procedures
Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price check functions when necessary
Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery including ovens, cooking utensils, refrigerated cases, display racks, and tables
Operate and handle bakery equipment using proper work methods in accordance with safety policies and procedures
Maintain all club policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
Ensure regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job
