This role is specifically within BJ's bakery department, where team members engage in baking and preparing a variety of bakery goods to meet daily production demands. The Bakery Associate operates ovens and other baking equipment, handles inventory including unpacking and storing bakery products, and ensures the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained. This position is critical to the customer experience, as it involves both preparation and presentation of baked goods, as well as direct interaction with members to respond to inquiries and fulfill special orders. Team members are expected to maintain cleanliness and sanitation, follow food safety protocols, and adhere to company policies. Additionally, they work collaboratively to uphold BJ's GOLD (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate, Fast, Friendly Full, Fresh, Clean) member service standards and contribute to a positive store environment. The hours and pay for this position are competitive, with an estimated salary range of $17.50 to $21.00 per hour, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
