The role of a Bakery Team Member at BJ's Wholesale Club is a key position within the bakery department responsible for ensuring that all bakery products meet high standards of quality, freshness, and presentation. This role involves proofing and baking unfinished bakery goods according to specific product handling instructions, using ovens and other specialized equipment. The Bakery Team Member is also tasked with the unpacking and proper display of bakery items from the freezer, in alignment with production charts to maintain accurate stock levels. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized bakery environment is crucial and involves regular cleaning and sanitizing of bakery equipment and surfaces.
