Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow bakery product handling instructions
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Capability to perform cleaning and sanitation of bakery equipment
- Commitment to workplace safety policies
- Willingness to support club policies and provide excellent member service
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling guidelines
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, cakes
- Unpacks bakery goods from freezer and displays proper amounts based on production charts
- Decorates special order or case product
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Ensures all products meet company quality standards
- Generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment, fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment using proper work methods and safety policies
- Maintains club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance
