The current opening is for a Bakery Team Member position within BJ's Wholesale Club. This role is vital to the bakery department's operation, tasked with proofing and baking all unfinished bakery goods by following specific product handling guidelines. The Bakery Team Member uses ovens and other bakery equipment to prepare various goods, ensuring high-quality products are consistently available for members. Responsibilities include unpacking frozen goods, displaying proper amounts based on production charts, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the bakery. The team member also supports club policies, strives for flawless execution, and embodies a positive, friendly attitude while working collectively as part of the team.

This role requires direct interaction with members to provide excellent service, answer questions regarding bakery items, take special orders, and ensure a safe, positive shopping environment. Maintaining bakery product freshness and quality through proper handling and storage policies is an essential function. Additionally, this position includes operational duties such as generating price labels, rotating stock, inspecting shipments, and cleaning bakery equipment and surfaces. This position offers competitive weekly pay ranging from $17.25 to $20.70 per hour.
