Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to follow product handling and safety protocols
- physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally heavier with assistance
- ability to work in temperature-controlled environments such as freezers and ovens
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- strong team collaboration skills
- commitment to honesty, integrity and customer service
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- answer member calls and take special orders
- proof and bake unfinished bakery goods following product handling instructions
- use bakery production charts for preparation and display
- gather products for the next business day
- package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts
- decorate special order or case products
- rotate and store bakery products following safety and freshness standards
- receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- ensure product freshness and quality standards
- check for out-of-date products and follow salvage policies
- generate labels and price tickets
- ensure accurate pricing
- clean and sanitize bakery equipment and surfaces
- operate bakery equipment safely
- maintain club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- maintain regular, predictable attendance
