Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally heavier with assistance
- Ability to work in a comfortable indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, or coolers
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable full attendance
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to safety and food handling policies
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information using ovens or other equipment
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Decorates special order or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety, freshness, and product handling policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Ensures all products meet company quality standards and checks for out-of-date products
- Generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods and performs price check functions
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment, fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment safely
- Maintains club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintains regular, predictable full attendance
