Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently and more with assistance
- Ability to move, bend, reach, pull, push, and stoop as required
- Ability to work in temperature extreme environments such as freezers and ovens
- Maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- Commitment to follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling instructions
- Use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs
- Gather products to be prepared for the next business day
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product policies
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment using safety policies and procedures
- Maintain club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
