Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Experience or interest in bakery or customer service environment
- Ability to handle physical activity including bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work in environments with temperature variations such as freezers and ovens
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Commitment to upholding food safety and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and understand production and financial performance reports
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and sanitation standards
- Positive and friendly attitude
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- Use bakery production charts to guide production and display needs
- Package freshly baked goods such as cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts
- Decorate special order or case product
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards and check for out-of-date products
- Generate labels and price tickets and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely following safety policies
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties including working in other departments as needed
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
