Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to follow bakery production and safety procedures
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- capable of lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and assisting with heavier items
- willing to work in temperature-variable environments such as freezers and ovens
- strong communication and customer service skills
- commitment to teamwork, inclusion, and a positive work environment
- regular, predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts according to production charts
- packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- decorates special orders or case products
- rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- ensures products meet company quality standards and checks for out-of-date items
- generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods and ensures accurate pricing
- cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and display surfaces
- operates bakery equipment safely in compliance with policies
- maintains all club policies and procedures
- performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments as needed
- ensures regular, predictable, full attendance
