Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Capability to stand, bend, lift, and move objects up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work in temperature-controlled environments including freezers and ovens
- Reliable and predictable attendance
- Ability to handle cleaning agents safely
- Experience in bakery or retail environment preferred
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic math skills to handle pricing and inventory
- Attention to detail and commitment to food safety and cleanliness
Job Duties
- Proof and bake unfinished bakery goods by following product handling instructions using ovens and bakery equipment
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production charts
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments ensuring all products meet quality standards
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment following safety policies
- Maintain club policies and procedures
- Answer member questions, take special orders, and deliver excellent customer service
