Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to proof and bake bakery goods following detailed product handling guidelines
- Capability to maintain cleaning and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and more with assistance
- Ability to work in environments with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to work regular and predictable full attendance
- Adherence to food safety and company policies
- Willingness to work flexible hours including potential weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations
- Maintain all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes as needed
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and ensure accurate pricing
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery
- Operate bakery equipment using proper safety methods
- Answer member questions and take special orders
- Follow club policies, procedures, and compliance
- Maintain a friendly and positive attitude and work collaboratively as a team to achieve goals
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
