The role being offered is for a Bakery Team Member, a vital position within the bakery department that requires both technical skills and a passion for customer service. The Bakery Team Member is responsible for proofing and baking all unfinished bakery goods according to product handling instructions, ensuring that the bakery section is well-stocked and presented beautifully for members. This role includes unpacking frozen bakery goods, applying proper storage and handling procedures, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and assisting customers with their orders. The bakery department not only focuses on producing fresh and high-quality baked goods like breads, cakes, pastries, and cookies but also on providing exceptional service that aligns with BJ's GOLD member standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate).
