As a bakery team member at BJ's Wholesale Club, you will play a vital role in the bakery department by proofing, baking, and preparing a variety of bakery goods. You will follow product handling guidelines to ensure all bakery items meet the company’s quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities include unpacking frozen goods, baking items according to bakery production charts, decorating special orders, and maintaining cleanliness within the bakery. This role also involves interacting with members by answering questions, taking special orders, and delivering excellent customer service to create a friendly and positive shopping experience.

In addition to hands-on bakery work, this position requires adherence to BJ's rigorous club standards, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring accurate signage and pricing, and supporting overall club policies. The bakery team member works closely with other departments as needed, contributing to a smooth and efficient operation.
