Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Ability to follow detailed baking and food handling instructions
Capacity to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds frequently
Willingness to work in temperature-variable environments including freezers and ovens
Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
Commitment to safety and sanitation standards in a food service setting
Strong customer service and communication skills
Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments

Job Qualifications

Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
Knowledge of bakery products preferred
At least 18 years of age

Job Duties

Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following product handling instructions
Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts according to production charts
Packages freshly baked items such as cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
Decorates special orders and case products
Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness guidelines
Receives and inspects bakery shipments ensuring quality standards
Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment, fixtures, and food surfaces
