The Bakery Clerk at El Rancho Supermercado plays a crucial role in the bakery department by ensuring the preparation and production of high-quality bakery products. This role involves mixing and measuring dough ingredients, creating a variety of baked goods including rolls, cookies, pies, and tarts, all while maintaining adherence to production schedules and safety standards. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Mix and measure ingredients to form dough or batter for recipes
  • Roll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, and related bakery products
  • Cut, peel and prepare fruit for pie fillings, baking cakes, and preparing icing
  • Train assistants and maintain cleanliness of the bakery
  • Maintain records of customer orders
  • Provide quality customer service and take cake orders
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are stored separately
  • Ensure cooler and freezer temperatures are correct and maintained
  • Rotate merchandise in accordance with labels
  • Maintain department plan-o-grams and schematics
