Job Requirements

Ability to work at fast-paced but efficient and controlled manner
Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position including standing bending lifting and walking
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and push and pull up to 100 lbs
Ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance work habits and attitude
Must be flexible to work various hours and shifts including weekends and holidays
Attend meetings and training sessions when called upon
Must maintain a current food safety certification
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others

Job Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced efficient and controlled environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and assist guests
Experience in a retail or customer service role preferred
Basic knowledge of food safety practices
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Team player with a cooperative attitude
Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and tasks
Current food safety certification preferred

Job Duties

Acknowledge greet and engage guests as they enter the bakery area
Exceed guests expectation for service and build a reputation for ultimate service
Be attentive at all times to guests needs and ready to serve or direct them
Walk all department displays every 2 hours to ensure cleanliness merchandising proper signage and lighting
Ensure packing guidelines are followed
Ensure quality products are available for sale and products are rotated
Demo and sell products as time permits or as instructed by management
Follow daily duties and complete them accurately and timely
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Accurately write and follow instructions on special orders to meet or exceed guest expectations
Assist in break-out and dishwashing as needed
Practice safe work habits and maintain a high level of cleanliness organization and safety
Ensure all food safety procedures are followed
Assist in training new team members
Perform other related duties as requested by management
