The Baker's Helper plays a pivotal role within the bakery department, contributing directly to the preparation and production of baked goods. This position involves a variety of tasks such as preparing dough, glazing pastries, and assisting with baking processes from start to finish. The Baker's Helper works closely with the Bakery Sales Manager to plan daily production schedules, gather necessary ingredients, and ensure recipes are followed meticulously. Attention to detail is crucial, as is maintaining the freshness and quality of all bakery items.
Beyond baking tasks, this role includes customer service responsibilities, where individuals provide courteous assistance, answer questions about bakery products, and help customers make selections.
