The Baker's Helper plays a vital role within Albertsons' bakery operations, engaging in a variety of tasks that support the production and quality of baked goods. This position is full-time and focuses on assisting with daily bakery functions such as preparing dough, glazing pastries, and overseeing the baking process from start to finish. Working closely with the Bakery Sales Manager, the Baker's Helper helps plan the day's production schedule, ensures ingredients are gathered accurately, and follows recipes precisely to maintain consistency and high standards. Duties extend to applying icing, monitoring oven temperatures, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace.

This role requires a balanced appreciation of both the creative and technical aspects of baking. Candidates are expected to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and take pride in delivering baked goods that enhance the customer experience. The position also demands excellent teamwork and communication skills as well as a genuine interest in food preparation and bakery operations.
