They engage customers by providing fast and friendly service, managing special orders both in-person and over the phone, and personalizing cakes with messages as requested. Additionally, they employ suggestive selling techniques to enhance the customer experience and promote the bakery’s diverse product range. Beyond customer service, the role involves operating and maintaining bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, proof boxes, and decorating tools including airbrush machines and label printers. Physical requirements are substantial as the job entails lifting heavy products (up to 50 pounds), pushing heavy racks, and standing for extended periods while executing multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
