Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of bakery experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 40 lbs
- Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards
- Maintain a valid Food Handlers permit
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent education and experience
- Demonstrate dependable and reliable work habits
- Be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Possess outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Have good communication skills
- Be able to answer phones and take special orders
- Ability to participate in a team environment
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties
- Operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide a high level of customer service in the bakery department
- Ensure cleanliness of the bakery area and equipment
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy of bakery products
- Examine product rotation and discard outdated or spoiled items
- Receive, inspect, and log merchandise for accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Maintain compliance with safety and health regulations
