Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a bakery or food production setting
  • physical ability to stand for long periods
  • capability to lift and handle baking ingredients weighing up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work with hot ovens and equipment
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

  • experience in baking or bakery operations
  • knowledge of baking techniques and ingredient handling
  • ability to operate baking equipment safely
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • good organizational skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Job Duties

  • prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread, cakes, cookies, pastries, pies, and other specialty items
  • operate ovens and other baking equipment ensuring temperatures are correct and baked goods are cooked to perfection
  • monitor ingredient inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
  • clean and sanitize baking equipment, workstations, and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
  • regularly inspect baked goods for quality ensuring they meet the bakery’s standards in appearance, texture, and taste
