Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking or culinary experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods without sitting
- Capability to lift and handle baking ingredients weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely operate hot ovens and baking equipment
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Willingness to work in a busy and friendly workspace

Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of baked goods including bread cakes cookies pastries pies and other specialty items
- Operate ovens and other baking equipment ensuring temperatures are correct and baked goods are cooked to perfection
- Monitor ingredient inventory levels order supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Clean and sanitize baking equipment workstations and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Regularly inspect baked goods for quality ensuring they meet the bakery’s standards in appearance texture and taste
- Adhere to daily par sheet requirements and production schedules
- Uphold strict health department regulations and company food safety standards through proper food handling and cleanliness practices
