Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in baking or culinary arts preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
  • Effective communication skills
  • Capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and uniform as required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a baker or in a similar role
  • Demonstrated expertise in baking techniques and food sanitation
  • Food safety certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Proficiency in basic math skills and numerical understanding
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards

Job Duties

  • Follow production guidelines and standardized recipes to bake an assortment of pastries and baked goods
  • Prepare work area by arranging all essential tools and ingredients
  • Quantify, weigh, blend, and cut ingredients as needed
  • Use baking tools such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Handle kitchen tools safely following best practices
  • Adhere to food safety protocols and proper storage of food items
  • Clean and disinfect workspaces, tools, and utensils after use
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards and positive interactions
  • Follow Aramark safety guidelines including food safety and sanitation
  • Adhere to security procedures to protect company resources
