Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- six months or less of related work experience
- strong customer service skills
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance
- good visual acuity including color vision and depth perception
- ability to perform repetitive motions and physical activities like balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling
- willingness to adhere to sanitation standards
- punctuality and reliable attendance
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- completion of a pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications

- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible
- assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach items, loading or unloading heavy products, and performing tasks to enhance shopping experience
- answer telephone promptly and provide helpful service including taking product orders
- take customer orders at Bakery counter
- work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and pleasant work environment
- check orders for the day, set up timeline and production schedule
- decorate bakery items in a timely manner
- keep current on new designs and trends
- ensure department standards are met
- check cake orders for details and indicate supply needs
- order supplies for decorating area and check off orders
- deliver product and set up wedding cakes on site
- communicate with bakery manager regarding displays, weekly ads and special needs daily
