The role of Bakery Cake Decorator at Bristol Farms is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food decoration and customer service to join the Bakery Department in Manhattan Beach location. Reporting to the Bakery Manager, the Cake Decorator plays a pivotal role in preparing, designing, and decorating cakes and other baked goods with artistic flair and attention to detail that meets both customer specifications and Bristol Farms’ high standards for quality and presentation. This hourly position offers competitive compensation ranging from $18 to $24 per hour and is classified as nonexempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The Cake Decorator is responsible not only for the creation and decoration of cakes and related bakery items but also contributes to maintaining bakery operations by following inventory rotation practices, ensuring proper handling and labeling of products, adhering strictly to FDA and local health department sanitation codes and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service. The job also involves answering customer inquiries, taking bakery orders, and actively engaging with guests to build relationships that encourage repeat business.
